In 2024, Hasco Lek adopted the CPM Matrix platform to enhance its planning, budgeting, and controlling processes. The updated system significantly improved task monitoring and control, automated reporting, and facilitated better integration of data from various systems, leading to greater efficiency and effectiveness in financial management.

Objectives

The primary objectives of the project were:

  • Increase the efficiency of monitoring and controlling tasks related to forecasting and budgeting processes.

  • Effectively implement and monitor budget plans, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Improve mechanisms for obtaining information, including archived data, from external systems.

  • Automate the reporting process to streamline financial reporting and analysis.

  • Automate notifications of tasks and events related to forecasts and budgets, improving internal communication.

  • Create a consolidated data repository by integrating data from different systems into a single, manageable location.

  • Ensure ongoing maintenance and development of the platform for sustained performance and improvements.

The Challenge

Hasco Lek faced several challenges before the implementation of the new system:

  • Integration of internal systems with data from the existing Matrix system (since 2017), requiring seamless data flow and consistency.

  • Development and implementation of a web-based sales presentation module to enhance sales and financial presentations.

To address these challenges, the CPM Matrix platform was updated and implemented with several key features:

  1. Refreshed Matrix System Layout:
    The Matrix system was upgraded with a new layout that included a dedicated sales section, enhancing the platform’s functionality and user experience.

  2. Automated Data Handling:
    A dedicated e-mail solution was created to automatically read email attachments, unzip them, and upload the files directly into the system. This automation streamlined data import processes and reduced manual effort.

  3. Enhanced Integration and Efficiency:
    The system improved the integration of internal systems with the Matrix platform, facilitating better data management and accessibility. It provided a small data warehouse that consolidated data from different sources into one place.

  4. Automated Reporting and Notifications:
    Reporting processes were automated, reducing the time and effort required for generating reports. The system also automated notifications of tasks and events related to forecasting and budgeting, improving communication and task management.

  5. Improved Data Access and Communication:
    The platform enhanced mechanisms for obtaining information from external systems, including archived data, and improved internal communication by automating various processes.
